Founded in 1994 and under the stewardship of Dr Osamu KEMMOTSU, Dr Yong Woo HONG, Dr Minoru NOMURA, Dr Florian NUEVO, and Dr Jae-Hyon BAHK, ASCA has become one of the major cardiothoracic societies in the world. As the current President of ASCA, I will continue the efforts of my predecessors to elevate the status of cardiothoracic anesthesiology practices in Asia. The additional activities to enhance awareness of ASCA will include online continuing medical education sessions and joint research projects within Asia. The 15th ASCA Meeting 2025 will be held in Labuan Bajo, the capital of the West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Through these scholarly activities, I hope to further expand and develop ASCA as much as possible. I am looking forward to your active participation in the activities that are organised by ASCA and welcome any feedback about ASCA.
